I just got back, the vet called and I was able to bring her in early. Holly has a very bad ear infection along with some other problems. I had to leave her there and she will call to let me know what else is bothering her. It seems odd that she isn't
here, Loki is looking for her. We miss her already

I hope the ear infection can be cleared up quickly, along with anything else that is bothering little Holly. She is one lucky birdy to have someone in tune enough to her behaviors to spot when something is not quite right. Sending sincere good wishes and healing thoughts for a speedy recovery, Denise.

Also, when you get a chance, I would be interested in learning what your vet chooses to treat Holly with to fight the ear infection.

Holly will be staying at the vets for a few days, she also has pneumonia. The vet thinks she will be OK since I noticed early, so I a hoping for a speedy recovery, Loki was so upset that she was gone that the vet had e bring him down tonight to see Holly. They were so happy together we laughed. Holly couldn't do much, she was to sick but you could see she perked up a little. Thank everyone for your thoughts and prays I will keep you updated

So glad you got Holly in to get treatment. Dexter my CAG was diagnosed with pneumonia about 4 months ago. He was on Baytril oral and within 2 weeks there was great improvement. I wish the same for your Holly!

Wow, I did not know a bird can get pneumonia. And the first bird I ever heard of with an ear infection was Jill's Riven. Holly is the second. How do they get either of these? You are such a good parront to notice your baby was sick.
