An umbrella Cockatoo was dropped in our lap by someone who shouldn’t own birds. We are trying our best to give him an enriching life. He has a band on his right leg. It says FL RFA 33. We do not know the gender or the age. Any way I can track that down with this band?

There is a list on here, but I didn't see yiours listed. The FL stands for Florida. The RFA is the breeder? & the number is the individual parrot number. Many breeders DNA sex their chicks, but not all do, so even if you found the breeder they may not know the sex, but should know the age.

I'm pretty sure there's a member here who may be able to help you. I just can't recall who at the moment.

Hopefully they will reply.
My macaws isn't listed on the breeders list but he's from Florida also.
Maybe there is an update to the list somewhere.
