hello bird lovers!
i hope someone can help me. i have a breeding pair that lays 4 eggs during last week. they are a proven pair.
today we found papa dead in cage.. we noticed already the last few days he wasnt feeling well. we live in the philippines so there are no vets for bird here....
mom is still tending to the eggs but what can we do to help her... she is alone now and we are hoping she continues to take care off her eggs.
how can we help her and how realistic should we be that the eggs will be hatched?
thank you everybody!

Sorry about the loss of your bird. What type of birds are these? The eggs may or may not hatch. If they do hatch and mom can't take care of them on her own you may have to step in and hand feed the babies. Are you prepared to do that? Do you know how to do that? Can you contact any breeders for assistance?

they are eye ring lovebirds.
before every time they had eggs they hatched. and i do have experience with hand feeding but only at 3 weeks old. I do feel confident of stepping in. but of course prefer not to.
at this moment she is still tending the eggs.
there are breeders here but i yet have to find one that can help me and i really need guidance
