I am a big lover of dogs and parrots. Currently, I own a Pomchi.
It's a lovely dog breed. Now, I am also looking to get some
parakeets. Let me know if parrots can adjust easily with dogs.
Parakeet is a small dog breed. I hope with will be a good pets
combination.

We have a Chiweenie, but it's never safe to have a bird out of the cage in the presence of any dog. Dogs are predators, birds are prey and that will always be so. But they can certainly be in the same home! I'm a full time RV'er, so it's close quarters, but we make it work. I actually have two dogs and one cockatiel.

I have a dog & other pets, but my budgies are never in the same room as them. If you're vigilant it can work. There's no 'safe' dog/cat breed/type though.
