Hello, everyone! I'm quite new to this community and I literally just got a bird a few days ago with the help of my parents. The bird I payed for in full, and her name is Oswald, my sweet little baby cockatiel! I wanted to come here to learn about other's experiences and tell my own and perhaps to get answers to some of my burning questions. I have had previous experience with birds, as my dad had a Quaker before mine (he died a couple months ago. RIP Fred) and I figured life wouldn't be much the same without another feathery friend. Anyhow, thanks for reading and I can't wait to get started on this site!

P.S.
Yes, my parents helped me with getting a bird slightly. I am still in high school and I plan on getting a job failry soon to help support my bird.

Thank you! Yeah she's here, her name is Oswald! She's 3 months old. I've read up quite a bit on cockatiels, but this is my first true experience with one. Reading up on them helps quite a bit, but it also makes me rather nervous as I'm afraid I'll always be doing something wrong. And thank you so much!
