Hello!!
I'm a newbie Conure mom. We just got our first GCC yesterday. He's 9wks old. We're still working on a name
He knows how to step up,he's not afraid of hands, etc. He has been completely fine with me reaching in his cage to change his food/water, move perches around. He seems to be eating/drinking normally. He hasn't come out of his cage on his own yet, but he will step up to my finger and let me bring him out. We covered his cage last night and he slept from 8:00pm-7:30am! My only concern is, he hasn't made a sound. A couple of clicking sounds and that's about it. I know they're the quieter of the Conures but is this normal?

No, I haven't been to Varietees...yet. But I will certainly check it out. Thanks for the tip, I thought that might be the case(he's scared). I'm heading out to the store right now to get some treats
