update on annie im kinda upset that my vet took annie of the celebrex ,she has not eaten her feet for 5 month now .
then she decited to take her of it,shes been off for 2 weeks and sure enough she peeled the skin of one of her legs last night before
i could catch her .So now she is back in her collor and she hates it .im going to call the vet here as soon she opens and talk to her
about it ,i dont care what it cost i keep her on it the rest of her life if that what helps her........

It does come down to quality of life, doesn't it? Maybe she can be placed on a maintenance dose, high enough to curb the pain yet low enough to hopefully ward off side effects. I would think your vet was wanting to know exactly what you have discovered. Did you ever discuss arthritis? Could that be the problem? I know the vet says ABV.

We had Merlin off for the summer but put her back on at the end of September. She is a Grey though and my vet says they start having issues again in October. So the plan right now is end of Sept to end of April each year for Merlin. Next time I'm there I will ask her opinion on how she would prescribe for an Ekkie for you.

thay be great audrey i just picked the celebrex up again ,i dont know abput my vet she susposed to be the best in kansas city .but when i call her just now and if she called the meds in she whined to me how she had no time yet to sit down .i told her im just asking and she should close at least the doors for 30 min or even an hour ,every other place does i said too no one goes from 9 till 6 pm with no break .it be better then whining to ur customers all the time sometimes i just get negative vipes from her.......but anywho annie got her first dose so i hope in a week or 2 she be better again .....i rather have her on a low dose fore ever then in pain .....

so annie has been on her meds again for awhile and finaly back to the point were we left off again no more collar for about a week now and no mutalating her feet wooohoooo .i started her with the same dosage she was on and now i went for half of it to try to get a maintanance established and hoping that she stays good .she will never be without meds ever again she is so much happier again what makes momy happy .....
