I am so very sorry for you; you are right...it is way too early for you to have to post here again. You have been through so much; I am keeping you in my prayers.
I'm so sorry. Don't beat yourself up about it, you did nothing wrong. He was so spoiled and loved his mom. I can't imagine how you feel... But we're all here for you.
I am very sorry for your loss. There isn't anything that you did to cause the death of your birds. In 2007 I lost my nanday, 2008 I lost my black headed caique and green cheek conure. In 2009 I lost my cherry headed conure and then in 2010 I lost my maroon bellied conure and cockatiel. I also wonder what I've done to deserve so many losses so soon of each other. They all were so very young. I can't change the losses but I have to live and remember them the way they would want me to. Hugs to you.
Angela my heart breaks for you to have lost Harley this way. I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful bird.
It must have been terrifying. A necropsy might confirm that he had problems with his liver or kidneys, or if one of your other birds is a carrier of something. My friend said it is $90 to send him to Univ. of Ga..
Angela, I just saw this as I have not been on for awhile...my heart is beaking for you I never met Harley in person but I sure fell in love with him from the stories and pics you shared. Know that we all will miss that sweet little red head. Huge hug to you!
