Growling noise

Hi all

My new bird is 13 and am told a girl, and been with us for a week now. She seems to be settling in ok and amusing us with some funny noises. she squeaks alot like dog tot. Lol, but she also makes these wierd dinosaur type growling sounds which I have no idea how to interpret. She doesn't seem scared or aggressive in any way and will stop if I offer her millet which she loves. Shes been doing it almost constantly on and off for the last teo days.... what is she trying to tell me? I'm starting to worry.

Can you take a video of her doing this so we can hear what she is doing?
One of my 'tiels makes what I describe as a "complaining" noise.

Yeah I'll try to do this after work tomorrow. I guess it could be a complaining noise, but it's so often.

14 weeks I'm told

Oh she is a baby?? 13-14 weeks not years lol. I was going to say that to me sounds like baby static noise which they often make when hungry.

Shes just hungry? Thank God. Shes a skinny little thing, I did wonder if she needed more....

What diet is she on?

The breeder said seed, millet, sweetcorn, carrot. She hasnt taken and veg off me yet but I put that down to her settling in. She loves the seed but I mix it with pellets for both birds so maybe shes not yet eating those and not getting enough. Shed eat millet all day if i let her.

Would you say that she has maintained her weight, or she has gone down since? That could just be from settling in if she isn't eating as much. @Khizz

Well, we sort of all are at the moment

It's only been 8 days but def not gone down (although I'll keep an extra eye on that now I know it's possibly a hunger thing) might just need a bit more sees until she gets used to the pellets and ears her veg again?
