How to post videos to comments and threads
The only way to post videos in your comments or threads is to paste the URL of the video uploaded to a file hosting site like Youtube, Facebook (public videos only), Vimeo etc.
You cannot upload any videos directly onto Avian Avenue.

Once you have a video that you would like to share, highlight the URL, right-click, select ¨copy¨
If you are using a mobile phone and the Youtube App, you can click the ¨share¨ icon, then select ¨copy to clipboard¨.
Then return to Avian Avenue and in the text box, right-click where you want it to embed and select ¨paste¨.
You can post more than one video per comment.
It will appear in your post like this;
Alternatively,
You can embed media. This works particularly well with Instagram videos (as long as they are public). Just above the text box, click the ¨...¨ icon, and select ¨media¨,
Then paste the URL in the box and click the blue ¨continue¨ button. The video will be embedded like this;
