I'm intrigued. We've been using the clear chair mats or vinyl. How does it handle poop? Doesn't that get in the cracks?

Looks nice, but how do you clean those? I have bamboo table sets I use on my cages as sun screens and I've had issues with poop and feathers sticking on them when my birds sit on their cage. It took much warm water and brushing to clean, but they are small and go into the sink, your large floor mats won't.. I would have used a piece of lino instead.

I believe Bamboo is easy to clean w/ its tougher wood layer. However thinly in mat form, could you just spray it w/ vinegar & water to wipe it?
