Budgie one side wing still bleeding

Could anyone give me some advice please?

I adopted two budgies on Feb 11 and found that the green one's right wing was bleeding on the edge. Their previous owner has cut their fly feathers to prevent them flying away. I had the suspect that he has cut too deep and injured the poor bird. Luckily, the little one turn out fine and stopped bleeding the next day. I thought he would recover soon...

However, 2 months have past, his right wing edge would still bleed occasionally when he tried to flap or pecked too hard. It is growing out fly feathers, but these feathers keep falling down. I have picked up at least 6-7 new fly feathers on the floor dropped from his right wing.

The yellow one whose wing feather were also cut away have grown out new ones and could fly now. The green one's left wing is Okay with new feathers. But what can i do with his right wing?

He looks really sad when he sees his partner can fly well but he couldn't. He is trying very hard to recover.

Hi here are some photos took on the day they arrived. They were handed over to me in a shoe box. Poor ones. Look like two refugees. I found the wing edge of green bird was bleeding.

They looked better and healthier on March 12. The fly feather on both wins of green bird were gone at that time

However, his wound would still bleed occationally. I just washed this yellow curtain a few weeks ago. These are new blood drops when he flaps wings.

He lost his newly-grown fly feathers one by one. :arghh:

Looks like either your bird has caught its wing somewhere causing all flights to be knocked out or someone has severely clipped your birds single wing :( .
As they are new to you and also have this wing issue (sorry I can not tell from your pics what exactly is wrong) I would recommend seeing an avian vet to determine exactly what is happening and to give your birds a good check over.

Thank you for the advice. I am also considering taking him to a vet for professional treatment. One constant concern is that the green bird is extremly timid. Every time i get closer his wing would start to tremble. I haven't touched him since they arrived. Sometimes i move their cage he would have panic attack. Big eye. Heavy breath.
Really don't wish this little guy to suffer more. If i take him to a vet I would have to catch him.

But maybe i should...? Haven't decided yet.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Yeah. The wound is on the inside edge of the wing. Only can be seem when bleeding. After the blood drys, the green bird would clean it up. I got shocked last weekend when i caught sight of blood on its nose. Forgot to take picture.

I am checking the pet hospital nearby. Collect some information first in case.Thank you.

As your cage appears to be of a smaller size you could possibly just take the whole cage to the vet so the bird only has to be caught the once so the vet can examine your bird- just use a sheet or table cloth to cover part of the cage so they are less stressed. And also use clothes pegs to hold the doors closed so there are no accidental escapes.

If this bleeding is from previous clipping then your bird has been suffering with some type of open or re occurring injury/wound to its wing for 2 months- that is a long time to have on and off bleeding without a good check over... your bird really should be seen by an avian vet at this stage to determine for sure what is happening.
