Blizzard Update!

The guy who bought Blizzard reached out to me! I posted an ad on Kijiji saying that I want to get in contact with the person who bought him to make sure he's in a good home, and he reached out! From the little conversation we had, I can tell that he's in good hands. The buyer has a macaw, and has taken Blizzard to the vet for his plucking and he's on meds and vitamins! He's giving Blizzard everything I wish I could've given him.

He said he will be updating me on Blizzards progress, so I'll also be sharing that here. (without personal information, of course)

I'm literally crying happy tears because I know my boy is in great hands. I can't wait to see him grow into the beautiful feathered boy he once was, and grow beyond that to a wonderful goffin.

I have always wondered if the couple that sold Gus to me wonder about him. I'm not sure they would. They had SO much going on at the time. I'd reassure them that Gus is great and beloved and a brat bird and a mess...

it unfortunately wasn't my choice, but my mother and I moved out from living with my father, and he sold him. mother and I tried to give him everything he deserved but abusive relationships get in the way of proper pet care unfortunately. I've been in contact with his new owner, and I know that he is going to be living the life he deserves
