Update please!

If any signs of a problem head straight to your avian vet.

Thanks everyone for your support and advice. I did take Cricket to the vet yesterday. They were actually amazed that there was literally not a scratch on her. After her exam they felt that no further action was necessary. Today she is acting as if noting had happened she's playing and just as feisty as ever!I am still trying to take it easy with her and have her rest but she won't have any if it.

Have them do a chem panel. They can check for organ trouble/crushing by any elevated numbers. You won't know how the internal organs are doing without it.

Thats great news! Im so glad you checked with your vet!
I wouldnt worry that they didnt do blood work.....your vet made that decision based on her expertise and the knowledge gained from the physical exam. I might consider giving her a nice vitamin supplement in her water for a few days just to be sure the affects of the shock didnt wear her out too much.

This is what I use:

I am glad she's not hurt. But do keep an eye on her and any thing that looks off in the next couple weeks, off to the vet you go ASAP.

So very glad that Cricket is okay. Phew, what a relief. Your quick action saved her. A reminder how quickly accidents can happen. Wishing you both the best.
