Maya is a sweetie, but quite fearless...can't imagine what might happen to her around larger birds.

I just got home from dropping off Beau with Natalie. He seemed so much happier without large birds.
He immediately started checking out the other birds and eating their food. He seemed to like the cockatiels which was nice. I was afraid that he was going to be scared of them because he's scared of Kei and Toady. By the time I left he was flying around with the other budgies and seemed very calm. I think he will be much happier there.

Honestly, I had no reservations or regrets about this decision. I just felt in my heart that he was not happy with me and I would not feel comfortable adding any more smaller birds to my flock after what happened to Harper so at this point, I am relieved that he is in a safer environment.
