Do you have a ladder? if you can't get him down spray him with a hose. Sounds mean but its better to have him shaken up and wet than to have him fly off again..

I am so glad you have spotted him. Dont take your eyes off him!! Try and get his cage close to the area so he can see it. Maybe you can get a ladder, cherry picker, etc to get up into the tree to get him? He will likely need help getting out of the tree.

Well, running to the computer every few minutes to post isn't going to help get Kiwi down, don't take your eyes off him, you're "his person", if he's going to come down for anyone, it will be you .. so stay put where he is and let your mom and sister do the moving around.

STAY CALM! Talk to him in a sweet and calm voice. I'm not so sure i agree with using the hose. The water may scare him and he may just fly farther away. He's already scared and you don't want to make it worse.

Use whatever treat you know entices him. If he gets excited when he sees the big bag or container use it to lure him to come to you even if you have to climb yup to get him. Keep the anxiety out of your voice and don't let anyone run around. Everyone must be calm.

I am so glad that you are able to see him. I would suggest you get a spray bottle and totally soak him so he can't fly away. I am praying that he comes down for you

As Marie said, BE CALM and move slowly, remember, he is probably scared right now
he will pick up on your anxiety - this is just a lark (fake it if you have to)
keep your eyes on him
get someone to bring you a pair of binoculars also so you can see him if he moves
keep talking to him just like you do every day - use his favorite treat or toy to lure him down
if he doesn't act like he will fly down, you may have to send someone up or use the hose (it can be very effective)
