Hi there!
I've been studying birds for a while now, thoroughly researching the subject and going over information repeatedly.
In the past few months, I've been researching African grey parrots, and I came across an alleged breeder online. For goldies, most people charge between $3000 and $4000+. But they're asking 900 for a girl who isn't even a year old.
Over the past week, we have spoken. and have had lengthy conversations with them. They sent me some images of one infant that they had inverted, but I was unable to find anything.

This is 100% a scam. Do not send them money. You will not get a refund, you will not get a bird. I've removed the link you provided for the safety of others.

Agree. When you are dealing with the more expensive parrots it is highly likely you will run into a scam. You will do best to ask for referrals from other AG parrot people.

Here is one of the best

I would strongly encourage you to consider adopting. There are so many birds in need of good homes.

Each year, there are several African Greys up for adoption at the parrot rescue near me. I hope you will consider going the adoption route. Even the photos you shared here are triggering my anti-virus software, so avoid them at all costs!

Congo African grey babies are going for $5,000 on average in the USA. Older greys that are being rehomed from private owners seem to be advertised for nearly as much or just a little less.

Rescues tend to rehome adult greys for a lot less, but that varies a lot from rescue to rescue. I got my grey 15 years ago from a private owner for $800 when she was 6 years old. That's 15 years ago!

Parrots are never cheap -- not the purchase price, setup price or ongoing maintenance. If you're on a budget, pick a different species.
