I have no self control.

This adorable little fella and his brother were offered up for free on Kijiji after their owner had a hard time finding them new homes. I've always loved mice, and have had several several throughout my life; I really just couldn't say no. As usual. :swoon:

I couldn't take both, as males shouldn't be housed together and I currently only have one available habitat, but if his brother doesn't find a home soon I'm sure he'll end up here too. :rolleyes:

The boys are super territorial and can really do harm fighting each other. Neutered males can live with females (and maybe each other?), but for mice the cons of neutering outweigh the pros. Males can be completely happy living alone.

Black mice! Who knew? I've always liked the black and white mice but never had any. I did have a couple of naked rats though.

One great thing about mice: their vet checkups are cheap.

I'm still stuck on trying to come up with a name! I'll think I've picked one, and then something else pops in my head. He's the Mouse of Many Names.

The only other black mouse I know about wears red pants

Mattimeo is also nice, although I prefer Matteo
