A fun first to celebrate...sweet destruction!

Well, it's been almost 7 months, but look what Monaco has been doing for a couple of days! It's one of the first things I got her from tbbt in November, I think. So far it's been a couple of beak tests, and today she was reaching from her sleep perch so far she almost fell a couple of times...even trying to hold it still with a foot (but not getting closer via the boing, crazy bird!) I felt some relief, and it made me cry a little bit. (I'm sure it's just the grief, but something had to give a little.) The best mess yet!

I'm so proud of her! I can't wait to see what she does with the next round of toys. Guys, she also took a couple of bites from a breakfast skewer! It's a huge tiny step!

I'm beyond happy. This is melon checking out the excitement... I had draped his little jingle toy on the cup holder while I was hanging the cups.... Here he is after he knocked it off and checked for seeds when Monaco left the scene!
