Soon I will have 8 budgies in the aviary!
My friend is giving me her 2 budgies for my birthday.
She has had the 2 for a few months but they were more of an impulse buy and she doesn't really know how to care for them. I helped her with them for a while but she wanted them to be tame but they originally came from an abusive owner so they aren't trusting.
She was told they are a few months old and a male and female but I haven't seen them clearly yet so I don't know if that's accurate.
I'm glad she is gifting them to me as her home isn't the best for the budgies, e.g. 2 kids under 8, loud family, no proper sleep schedule for the birds, 2 cats inside, dogs, mostly seed only diet with occasional veg.
I do understand her impulse buy however, as the seller was terrible to the birds. My friend tried her best so please dont be too mad at her. She did try to help them but her home isn't right for them and she is inexperienced. At least she reached out to me and applied the help to them.
I saw a picture ages ago, pretty sure they were a blue with yellow head and a green/yellow budgies.
Will post images once I got them
