“Safe” pest control?

We are having pest control done outside my house and the company is claiming to be pet safe. We are thinking about doing the inside of the house too on a floor that my conures rarely roam in. They are going to use “Non-Flammable, Non-Toxic, Eco-Friendly formula.” Will it be safe to have the treatment done inside and outside my house or just the outside? Maybe not at all? Thank you!

I would not trust it when they say pet safe- pet safe is not bird safe and in fact it is not always even really pet safe.

The one and only time I believed a pest controller that they were using a safe product around my home I lost my whole flock of chooks and I had a lot of chooks.
The pest control chemicals were not even that close to my chooks- it was the total opposite side of the yard from their coop but within hours I had dead chooks everywhere.

Birds are extremely sensitive to poisons and contaminants in the air- I personally would remove the birds from the property for a few days if you are having pest control done.

Just a second thought.... if the chemicals they use are non toxic how are they meant to kill your pests? They must have some active ingredient in them to overwhelm or shut down the nervous system or respiratory system of pests for them to work.
