Cutest Bird Ever!!!
Zane has appointment for surgery on May 17th. I wish it was sooner but I don't drive so I have to go with what works for my mom (who will be driving me down). I talk my vet about my concern with the anesthesia and it's just his age that will increase his risk. But his blood work came back and his heart, liver, and kidneys all look good, so that should help him through it. 
And vet say she and team will be watching him "like a hawk" Now my main concern is making sure his collar stays on. So far it's been great until yesterday he started chewing on it It's still holding on pretty good thou, so with a bit of luck we'll make to surgery day.
