Terrible pictures because I was trying to voom and turned on the video instead plus the sun was behind me- took these a few days ago because of the posts about giving your birds palm nuts and wanted to share that the wild macaws eat them. The macaws are here right now -wish I had time to go out and take some pics- they are hanging around because some amazons are trying to build a nest in one of their abandonned palms and they are tormenting the poor amazones even though the nest it to old to use any more for the bigger macaws. The amazons have dug out a cavity further down on the palm - will get photos if they persist and the macaws don't drive them off.
Thank you so much for the update.
How interesting that the macaws are trying to drive off the amazons.
I guess, they don't want to share the food supply?
Please keep reporting as often as you can.
And thanks for the pictures too
