Mine all sleep with me. All three in the bed. My Sheltie will get down during the night sometimes. The mutts, they have to be touching you, and sometimes I wake up feeling like I am in a straight jacket! 
The hair factor is horrible, but that's what washing machines are for. My next dogs, will definitely learn that the bed is not their place!
