Sharpie I know that with the training you are going thru, you understand what they are doing for/to Washbourne. It doesn't make it any easier when the one sick is yours. My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you continue down the path to pin pointing what is wrong and getting him back to good health. Hugs to Wash and keep us updated. :hug8:

The only real bonus to being in any sort of medicine is that it's a) easier for me to understand why different things mean what they do and b) I know exactly why it can be so hard to pin things down and we have to run all the (expensive) tests we do, like on House. I think that's the hardest part for most people... you can spend all this money, have a list of things it's NOT, but still have a sick pet (or child or spouse) and no idea what to do to fix it.

The bad part is that I worry and second guess everything because I know how much 'art' there is to the science of medicine. If it were all logical and organisms did what they're 'supposed' to, a computer would suffice. I know too many of the things that can go wrong or be missed or confusing or or or... yeah. I've spend a lot of my time researching lately!

You are so very correct!!! Good posting!! Don't you also find it hard now that it is YOUR pet in need this time? When we get an emergency in the clinic, I can be calm, get the animal taken care of, do what has to been done, But if its mine? Forget it! I can still get things done, but there's the element of panic involved.

I was checking in to see how Wash is doing. I'm sorry you don't have a lot of answers yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will find the problem and be able to treat him for it:hug8: Thinking of you guys.:hug8:
