Well I'll go out onalimb and say yes I Think she will be ok. Eli was sitting on me while I was getting a bath (bubble bath at that) ready. And he too fell in as I was leaning over it to turn it off.
He was MAD afterwards. But ok.

If she was only in there for a bit she should be fine. Do as Ginger suggested and also keep an eye on her (as I know you will). She'll be tired from the surprise of it all so that may account for her wanting to sleep. Since she's all wet make sure she's not in a breeze. I'm sure she wouldn't object to being cuddled in a warm comfy towel right about now. :hug5:

If she had breathed in any water she would be sneezing, gaging and trying to get it out of her nares. If she had swallowed too much she would be vomitting. Just keep an eye on her poos, they will probably watery for the first few. I would also put her up to your ear periodically for a couple of days just to be sure that she didn't get fluid in her lungs.

Anne she probably got scared and needs to rest and dry off. After Bodie gets his bath he wants to sit and rest and dry. I am sure she will be ok. After all in the wild they probably bathe in pools of water .

Oh Anne so sorry to hear of your accident they happen so quickly and so easily. Could have been any one of us as we all have to wash up sometime!
As long as she did not ingest any of the liquid she should be OK. there is arsenic in most washing up liquid as you know but would think the going under the water would have closed up all her air sacs for that split second and she would be Ok.
Keep us posted won't you? it is probably the shock of it all and the soap would remove the wax from her feathers to a degree so she will need help to keep warm until it has been replaced naturally. Good luck and take it easy yourself after that shock.:hug8:

((((HUGS)))) I hope Sam is fine. Warmth is a priority until she is fully dry. She's going to be a little stressed so her droppings may be watery. If you have a little Brewers yeast that helps with stress. (Even for you)

As Ginger suggested listen to her back and head to hear for any respiratory problems.

I think Sam will be fine. Just keep an eye on her and monitor her breathing the next few days.
