It's that time of year The birdies outdoors have built their nests and are now laying and incubating eggs. On my front porch, on one of the columns, nestled amid the English Ivy is the most perfect robin's nest I've ever seen. It looks like mama robin has even tried to decorate it with a few colorful berries. So pretty:
In my garage, on a shelf right by the laundry room door, the friendly Carolina wrens have contructed a tube-shaped nest of moss, leaves, sticks, straw and feather down. It's not as aesthetically pleasing to a human as the robin's nest, but it's very effective! Kudos, my little brown friends
