Thank you everyone, he is very loved by us all, employees and customers alike. And we have all considered taking him home at one point, but he always loved all the attention he got at the store and we knew he wouldn't be as happy in a home setting with less to look at and not as much one on one time as he has always gotten. Plus it was like he was all of ours so it would not be fair to everyone else if anyone took him home, but we still all considered it at one point or another. He will be sorely missed. I feel like we gave him a great ending to his life, especially considering his previous background. I just wish he didn't have to go this way. I will miss his antics. He knew we were all upset today, and when we were all sitting on the floor with him(it was a slow day business wise), he mustered up some strength to hop onto another girls bowl of chinese food and take his pick. We figured at this point we will just let him have anything his little heart desires, so she let him take his pick before he slowly and wobbly made his way back up to her shoulder to eat his findings, which was chicken of course. I keep wishing i will walk over and he will be dancing and singing like always, but i know that is a pipe dream. I will keep you all updated as we have not fully figured out the final arrangements, but i am hoping we do it soon so he does not suffer...and at the same time i do not want it to happen at all...
