oh oh oh i've been wanting to ask this for 10 days while my laptop was off for repairs....

B Scoot takes chunks out of the plastic lixit bowl i screwed into the greyhouse . so out it came.
he is missing his snacking station and who's fault is that, but what metal dish can i secure on the greyhouse and how????

Wholly molly I cant believe he can take chunks out the lixit bowls! They are pretty tough.

Could do something similar to this but maybe find them in SS. I have some of these for my tree, you would need to find a screw that would screw to the wood then the cup would screw to that. Maybe ask them to send you the screws to go with them. When I ordered extra the screws didn't come with them.

Not sure if the bolt will be long enough though

Could do something similar to this but maybe find them in SS. I have some of these for my tree, you would need to find a screw that would screw to the wood then the cup would screw to that. Maybe ask them to send you the screws to go with them. When I ordered extra the screws didn't come with them.

and you my dear have solved the problem in one fell swoop.......the bolt is *just* long enough to go through 1" wood and tighten the wingnut on. I just have to get another hole drilled at the right height for it!

i took a pic for you...it's using the lixit hole for now (too low) so the poor guy is leaned way forward and down chomping away
post it after birdiebedtime

it works perfectly though and you can cover that hole with a star or maze muncher or something
