Hub called me at work with birdie emergency, I couldn't leave, I was alone...couldn't get out of there fast enough, he said Baby Hawk and Thailog got into it, theres blood..now, hubs cant handle them when they're scared or hurt. I walked into this

Baby hawk got the worst, theres a cut above and below his nare, I threw septic powder and pressure on it.. to stop the bleeding, put him on metacam and baytril,,,he hates me right now. Thailog just got a bunch of feathers pulled out of his neck, no wounds. I told Baby hawk, dont mess with old men, they'll kick your @$$ every time! Its hormones, otherwise, they get along great. I'll check him again later, but, now hes resting..

Oh no! I hope they will heal well! It looks so bad. My husband worrys all the time about something going wrong w/ just our 1. That Buddy wouldn't let him help in a serious situation & noone else being home to be there to help.

Baby hawk passed out soon after the Metacam, I'll check him in the morning, there was some dried blood in his right nare, and the bleeding stopped, no blood in his mouth, that's a good thing, But I will have to clean it again. But hes so good when it comes to being handled and assaulted..
