Soda is cute. I'm sure you know that you need to be careful with having the birds near a dog. Did you get any info from the breeder regarding Bud and Dusky vs green cheek.

Oh yes we are very careful with our dog. He likes Soda. But that being said I will never trust dog alone with our birds.
Our breeder is gone until tomorrow so I will keep you updated on that

Bud is very cute but not a Dusky Conure. He looks like a pineapple or a cinnamon green cheek.

I just wanted to give you an update, I just talked to breeder and he had said that dusky headed was different than dusky green cheeked conure aka cinnamon conure..he said he should have write cinnamon
Either way bud is well loved ..thank you for the clarification though

OK....I've never heard of a dusky green cheeked conure. Only thing would be a dusky-GCC hybrid but guess the breeder is using dusky instead of cinnamon??? Sort of strange. Great that he is doing better.

Yea he said he should have just put cinnamon and apologized for the confusion.

I can't think of any breeders who have ever called a cinnamon green cheek a "dusky". How strange!
