Hi,
I am new to this Forum. We have recently adopted a 2 month old dusky conure. We just absolutely adore him. He has been home for just over a week now and him and I are establishing our bond. He has quite the personality already! My son has a 4 month old Tiel as well. We are learning alot in this past week about our baby conure as they are different than the tiel.
Our conure name is Bud(I call him budbud) and the Tiel name is Soda
I have posted this already but today budbud flew into the wall very very hard and stunned himself, we are very worried about him. He is awake but still very quiet
We will be calling vet tomorrow am.

As I wrote in your other thread I hope all will be well with your Dusky. Post some photos of Bud when he is feeling better and also some photos of Soda.

Bud is very cute but not a Dusky Conure. He looks like a pineapple or a cinnamon green cheek.

Oh weird his certification of registration and DNA sexing says Dusky Conure! Could they be wrong?

You are right though by looking at pictures!

You should contact the place you got him from and let them know. Maybe they gave you someone else's certificate.

The Band is also still on him. I will mention it to the breeders when we stop in

I would think the breeder would know what type of bird he is. Maybe the place that sent the certificate made the mistake.

Soda is cute. I'm sure you know that you need to be careful with having the birds near a dog. Did you get any info from the breeder regarding Bud and Dusky vs green cheek.
