My planted 15..not as pretty as some I had with stem plants. I got away from the CO2 though, my fish did not like it.I used to have a couple neat cubes, but after breaking one I kind of felt bad and took down the other.
These were the cubes when they were happy. I really did like them

another nano I had

a nano reef

this was my CO2 tank..The pink plant in here is Ludwigia Pantanal. My absolute favorite.

the reef before I took all the hard corals out..long story. Hopefully some day it will be even better than this

As you see, I love to create. This is my artwork.:)

Love the first fish and the tank. I think goldies are so underappreciated...

They are lovely and as we know Goldfish are messy. The tank is gorgeous even with plastic. :highfive: Can't wait to see them in it :cool1:

Carole we used to be on the same Planted Tank forum, whether you remember or not I dont know, but we did :D I remember when you first got your 20 long set up, as well as when you got your dario dario, and the bettas....

I love your cherry setup :D I used to breed snowballs, LOVED them :D

Also on the Orandas, I only kept them in the pond in the summer, in the winter I brought them indoor ;)

I love the china doll! I have never seen any of those available around here though. Great goldfish since they stay smaller.

I hope you can sooner than I, remember..I am older than dirt.:D It takes a lot of dedication to keep those planted tanks going really nice. It's a hobby that men excel in, and outnumber the women. It is harder than keeping saltwater, and takes way more maintenance and patience.

Love the first fish and the tank. I think goldies are so underappreciated...
I think so too, or at least it took me this long to notice them again. In fact, it was a member here that made me intrigued by them.

Thanks, me too.;)

Yes, I have been there just recently trying to retrain my brain to make the 15 gallon back up to looking good. I finally figured out if you don't fuss over those shrimp they do just fine.I have had my batch of several kinds for quite awhile now.
I have read they are one of the touchier fancies. I hope I can do well by them.

I love the china doll! I have never seen any of those available around here though. Great goldfish since they stay smaller.
I have never seen them either. I love the long fins and extra high dorsal.

awww such gorgeous goldfish!!! and tanks!!!
Thanks Martine, and thanks everyone for the nice compliments. Wish me luck with these two cuties. I have read that Orandas are like puppies with fins.

Carole your tanks are just gorgeous and you have a real talent for making them look so natural. Have you ever seen pom pom goldfish? I just love them and hpe to have more in the future. I would have to get them from a breeder as they are hard to fine.

Thanks again. I did something smart this morning. I called fed-ex, they were open 24 hrs..who knew? They are going to hold my package for pick up, and the facility is right near my home. So at 9 a.m. I will be there to get them. Much less stress than worrying about them being on a hot truck all day.

Oh they look great in that tank! How large will they be when full grown?

The little one can grow to 4-5", the bigger one 6-8". I will eventually have to upgrade, but for now this will do. They are awesome..I am so happy they made it ok.:)
Thank you
