Mojo is toe tapping really bad!

I am thinking of setting him up in a small cage with t-shirts on the bottom and no perches. He is so tired. I think he is struggling to rest.

He got bitten right at the base of the nail on one toe by Jamie on 6/13. The tapping started about a week ago, just slightly and got really bad yesterday.

I put him to bed in a small cage with a towel on the bottom (one without terrycloth). He is on the bottom leaning to one side. The foot is hot and he winces when you touch it.

I would be nervous its infected. When its hot, doesn't that mean infection?

If it is hot I would think it is an infection too.

I am concerned too. But Dr. B checked it close. No oozing, no redness or swelling. UGH

Was it hot when he was at the vet?
Does he have a pager or anything? An answering service?

He'll answer if I call. I just know what he'll say. That he saw it today and saw nothing that made him think it was infected.

This is just such a helpless feeling. I am not used to my babies being sick.

Does it look like it is swelling at all now? It could be hot from swelling also.

I didn't see any swelling. It's really weird.
