i saw one of those in the pet shop:huh: were i buy the food for my bird and they make a unmistakable call .which sounds uncannily like loud:eek:

I *think* if I got an import and export licence I could get one from a breeder there, or anywhere in Australia that breeds them. I am not 100% sure it is too confusing, I have a license for birds already though. If we got one in that couldn’t be released I would love to have one, but like you said, they need quite a large aviary.

I can’t believe they sell them in pet stores, how much are they?

there's a store near my old house that had two rescues,
it's amazing how much cuter and fluffier they are up close than you ever imagined!

Hee hee! I have to laugh every time I hear, "I didn't know they were that big!" I saw my first one in person at our local zoo here in Wisconsin and I too was flabbergasted by their true size. They sure are neat "little" guys though! :D
