Tips for beginners

How to get a caique hen out of the nestbox so you can examine junior :
( without the need for stitches)

Find floorbrush
Bang it around cage gently like clumsy housemaid
Hen HATES THE FLOORBRUSH
She rushes out of cage to attack it ( not me)
Lift brush (and attached hen) to another room
Examine junior
Then open door to room and act surprised that mama is there - What you doin?
Mama hops up on hand to be returned directly to nestbox

LOL

Dont do this often. Mama wasnt born yesterday....
