This has been an amazing thread to follow. So happy that Jackson is doing well!
What a wonderful group of people here supporting Saroj and Jackson, looking forward to all the daily updates and hoping and praying for the best possible outcome!
hi all!
finally got a chance to update. Thanks so much for caring. She did well in the carrier and at lunch i ran back to check on her, she had eaten some food. One thing is she was puffed up at lunch because she insists on getting under the paper and resting on the cold grate. I did have two heaters on her all day plus the regular heating, but the bars stay cool. Anyway, during the evening she was moving around and active though i had to remove the extra heaters while everyone was out. She ate and drank well, in fact ate a little too much and looked like she wanted to throw up for a minute, but she didn't. Right now the extra heaters are on and it is 86 near her carrier. I'm considering plexiglass but worry she might chew on the edges and get bits in. She's also getting pretty territorial!
Few more days in the carrier, maybe another week. I still handfeed her before work just to be sure. So that's the news for today!
Also, no news is good news!
