I'm on super high-alert in the bird room running after curious birds (Rudy, LScoot and BScoot) who want to visit Jackson. Last thing I need is a bitten toe or beak or foot
Her travel cage is on Rudy's couch so he is spending a lot of time hanging out on me
Jackson's eating and drinking on her own.

i was whining about how stressful it is managing six curious birds around a travel cage but edited it out. I've decided it's me first and less out of cage time for the birds until things settle down. So off i go to get a cup of tea with everyone caged for the evening after only two hours this evening out i think!

I think you are on the right track - you have to take care of yourself as well and everyone got out for a bit and Jackson got to socialize without overdoing it

I am so glad to read Jackson is doing so much better! Small steps with birds is really the best way...and I know that is hard for US to do...we like things to happen quickly so we can get on with our lives...well, having birds teaches us to slow things down and that is really BEST for all...
