Very thoughtful of your vet to discount the medication...I hope Chipper improves. 
December 11 Hopefully this will be my last entry into this thread. Chipper continues to do well and today is the last day for the amph. in the water. Had to use up what was left. No signs or symptoms of GI distress. Crossing all fingers here. Today he made a bee line for my sugar cooking held in my hand almost like he knew now he could have a tiny bite and he did. Dare I say this .........................THE END
