So Big Scooter had a bad day on the table last week and crashed into cage legs. He was doing just fine and then Jack yelled he pooped on me and jumped up which sent him crashing. It was a feather that had floated down not poop! Anyway tonight jack was well briefed and we brought him back to the table. He had been terrified of the table since, BScoot I mean. Today he ate pistachios calmly ...both guys were calm, no crashes. He forgot out playing ball though. Still, he's back on the table so hopefully he'll recover his confidence.

he was too because tonight was the first time i trusted them both again together on the table!! You started me giggling too...

Water in bowl plus drop of antibacterial soap to break the surface tension keeps ants out of cages.

he follows the chopstick reliably. Looks insulted when i suggest the ball and bowl trick! Anyway he's back on the table without fear.

Tonight we did a very useful training. BScoot climbs up the net to the curtain rod and I get on a stepstool and we have a very wobbly descent. Tonight I called my oh into the bird room and he coaxed him down with a pistachio! I was amazed! He gave him the nut when he was almost down but still on the net. Well BScoot couldn't climb down further with a nut in his beak so he put one foot waaaay out for Jack to pick him up. It was soooooo cute! He wouldn't pick him up, so I did. It was the cutest thing!
