Woohoo! I can finally post this now that all the chicks have hatched.

Dahlia and Trooper have 3 new babies! The youngest one just hatched this morning.

All the chicks have been banded, so from now on I will be referring to them as their band ID #.
Oldest is #6
Middle is #7
Youngest is #8


Chick #6 is giving me hints of recessive pied, which will be really interesting. Dahlia is split for recessive pied, and Trooper may be split for it. He doesn't have a pied patch, but rec. pied does run in his family line. His grandmother was a recessive pied, so it could have been passed down in split form for several generations. A few more days and I'll know for sure!

I didn´t know that was a thing! How can people not find them cute?!
No one has ever been to my house and seen the chicks bar my 2year old nephew (who LOVED looking at them) and I posted pics on my facebook.. but my friends know better than to call my babies ugly
