Haha me too! I bring people over and say here, I’ll open the nest box you can peek in and see a baby and they say EWW THEY'RE SO UGLY!!!

People are expecting a mini-bird with a huge head like baby mammals are. Of course they are in for a shock...

This little guy found his new family this weekend. His name is now "Archibald" and will be going to an existing client

I'm most fond of Dorry, mostly because he's a genetic surprise.
I had forgotten that both parents had the possibility of being split for greywing.... and it turned up in Dorry. He also inherited 2 dark factors, and I believe the Opaline as well, both of these mutations are giving his mauve colour a slightly different shade than I've had before. The pics don't do it justice, but i'll get some good ones in natural sunlight this weekend.
