I have one for each of the 'zons.
Other than having the hardest time figuring out how to use the deep mount, they are great. If you have trouble too, just PM me and I will send you pics.

I have one but have not used it yet. I have it just in case someone gets sick. So you guys use them all the time, or in the winter?

Can someone post a pic of how it looks attached to the cage or wall? Don't the birds chew it when it is out? How do you make sure it is safe?

I haven't had any troubles of chewing. They are hooked onto the back of the outside of cage. I leave them on all winter and sometimes in summer when AC gets to cold for them. They are wonderful and I would not go without them. I will post pictures when I get a chance:hug8:

I use them in the winter.
I also have to remove them from the cage when the Amazons are out as they go after the panels and electric cords otherwise. They leave the cage hangers alone though.

I bought one to have on hand after Tequila got sick. I havent tried using it. I would have to mount it on the wall and pull the cage away when Carlos was out of his cage or he would mess with it for sure. I have heard nothing but good things about them. I love Avitech and their products!

Hmmm....so if I use it for Baby and one for Dozer, I would mount it to the wall behind the cage and it could stay there? That would be easy. When they are out they are on the playstand near me, and not on top of their cages...plus due to their ages they are not real movers and explorers either. lol I wonder where I can get the best deal?

Just looked at the avitech site....I would need two extra smalls...and they do have them in stock. Might order at least one when I get paid this week....should I get the cage mount?

I think the cage mount would be good if they wouldnt mess with it when they are out of their cages. I am lucky to keep perches attached when Carlos is out of his cage..:hehe:

yes i was thinking seeing pictures woud help sell me to. They have a couple pictures but they are not cage set up (last time I looked) Would you hang it higher in a corner for when they sleep or would you place it some where else??

Leslie how would you use this for babys? Did you mean instead of a brooder or for maybe when they a tad older and trying the cage? Because hey are not fully feathered and could still use the heat?
