I'm so sorry for your loss of Max. It is so difficult to lose them. I also wanted to say that even if you had taken him in, there was probably something very major going on. Two big seizures like that so close together is pretty serious. A lot of dogs only have one seizure and no more for months or years, even. I would have waited to take him in also.:hug8:

I'm sorry to hear this. My little chihuhua experienced a seizure this past month; which is the second one I've witnessed since owning her for a Year. This one was about 10 minutes long, and I'm not sure what is causing this, but I have heard these guys are kinda prone to them =(

Thank you for releasing Max from his earthly body; it sounded like it was the right time do the ultimate act of love for your doggie. His spirit is free of a malfunctioning body and he is onto the next phase of existence. I know it hurts not having him near; but remember only his physical body is gone, not his spirit; he is still with you, in your heart, for as long as you live. Try and smile through your tears; remember the love, the happy times and the courage you showed in letting go of his physical existence so he could have peace. Celebrate sharing your life with him and remember.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine living without my "Rusty" as he's getting up in years now. Being a mortician does not lessen the pain. When we love and lose, it hurts to the core. My father was a mortician as well but that does not make death easier when you are surrounded by it on a daily basis. You are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP little guy.:hug8:
