Coco is my Goffins Cockatoo who was rescued a few years ago. She has become internet famous! Well, I have found out her Birthday is July 12th, she will be 28 years old. So we are having a huge party on her FB page, it will be televised LIVE! We are going all out, with prizes (Coco Merch) and games
We also have fundraised so far over $15,000.00!! The money goes RIGHT to the local birds who are in rescues or they are in care. Say we raised 20k, that is over 40-50K in retail supplies. Every single cent goes to the bird. It doesn't get tied up in shipping, fees, paper, overhead. Your pocket to the bird cage. We now have enough for 5 double macaw cages and toys for every single local bird with no family to call their own. So everyone here gets a birthday present from Coco's Friends!
You won't be sorry if you come, it is so crazy at our house.

She put a ton of money into it herself, but yes she did get paid the real costs!

Many of the ground dwellers were like that. Still Floyd is not comfortable on the ground. The greys especially, it was heartbreaking!

Coco. I had watched the video before and cried the whole way through it. It still breaks my heart but also puts me in awe of the vets, vet techs, volunteers, YOU, who worked so hard to help these birds. It's so wonderful to see Coco thrive. (And it's probably good that you're in Canada because if Coco and Elvis ever met, I think it would be world domination. ) I have a huge work project due but will try to sneak away to join in the celebration.
