I would like to nominate JP (IrishJ9). We are all enjoying watching little Nik Nak grow! Watching her hatch from the egg, taking formula for the first time, the appearance of feathers, sleeping all cuddled up, JP has been kind enough to share it all! He is an awesome daddy and has shown us all just how much he loves baby Nik Nak.​

lol its not always easy.

The three musketeers were split up because of Boo BOO's agression. He started plucking the others. Probably because of sexual maturity. Two males, one female in the same flight. Now hes on his own and crazy mad to get back to his friends, ( a different species).

He is the very definition of love and cuddles, till I try to put him into a cage alone, then he turns into a demon.

The good news is he likes Num Nums, ( also a WBC) so there may be a pair there - eventually, if WW3 doesnt break out over a biscuit. LOL. Im managing a slow gradual introduction at the moment

Cha Cha and Fingers hate the Musketeers, collectively and separately, because of the nest invasion 4 YEARS ago, ( what a memory) and go MAD if they're even in the same room.

Meanwhile Cha Cha has still got a bee in her bonnet if Fingers, her ( VERY ENTHUSIASTIC) mate approaches her ( empty) nest. She SCREAMS and SCREAMS her disapproval. Did I mention they're in the front room?. Its peace all day till bedtime, then WW4 breaks out.

Num Nums thinks her sister Nik Nak is a stranger, so attacks her if my back is turned and they;re both out

But she is best friends with her Dad. Her mum despises her ( so far), and pushes her away roughly. ( See a common denominator here yet?)

Its like the 12 days of Xmas here, birds everywhere, slowly remaking new partnerships.

The only happy pair is 2 of the 3 Musketeers, who are rolling along quite happily with the flow

And my Partner ( a cleanliness freak), since you ask, is not greatly pleased about bird poop everywhere. I have to move everybirdie about regularly to break the cycle of old habits and encourage new thinking.

Num Nums and Nik Nak, both still babies, and both hand reared, look around bewildered by all this action. WTH? Is this what the adults do?

Onwards and upwards.........

First all the splits and cage changes
Then boredom and routine set in
Then new friendships and partnerships develop
then peace......blessed peace

Id say give it 6 months....

But watch Cha_Cha. She has a contract out on the Musketeers

So Yeah, partner is thrilled to inherit this......
