This is so kind and makes me really happy! Thank you all. I am learning so much from all of you and this forum has added so much to my life and my (feathered) family’s lives.
I actually spent the morning at my informal apprenticeship with a conure and African grey parrot breeder as I now do every Saturday morning. I am starting, as all apprentices should by building cages and sweeping but over time will get more hands on learning with her various species. It makes my heart sing. I then spent the afternoon (Saturday is my day off from work and kids lol) at IKEA because I’m plotting a bird jungle gym takeover of my office to give Pitchounette and his eventual companion more play area. I got $25 worth of kitchen items that I repurposing for a bird gym. Reveal in late June : ).
I appreciate this community so much; thanks for the being the place I turn to whenever checking the news is overwhelming and I need to be reminded of all the good there is people.
