This is a video that a fellow co- worker of mine took of a wild mocking bird that randomly just landed on him while he was at work. He knew how much I love birds and emailed the link to a you tube video that he uploaded of this birdie. This was really cute but made me wonder why would a wild mocking bird land on a human and stay hanging out with them. I had to share the videos with you

that bird looks young....maybe he just needed a "rest stop". He looked like he was panting...glad he flew off though.

I agree he looks like he's having heat distress and just needed a rest and some cool air.

Pretty cool though.

He could also have been hand raised and got lost.

Peeper was a hand raised starling.

It's so sad not knowing his story. I hope he'll be alright. Such an amazing experience your co-worker had.

I'm thinking hand raised as well. It didn't have the normal fear of humans. Hopefully it knows how to survive on it's own.

Poor little thing. It could be hand raised, or possibly injured. I had a sparrow do the same thing to me after it flew into a window at work. The sparrow stayed with me all through out my lunch break, it's beak was open and he was panting the way this bird seemed to be doing. He eventually flew away and I hope he survived. Praying this one is okay. Thanks for sharing.
