Meet Ouzi she is a 2 year old indian ringneck she's been with us since she was 60 days old, and now she is a part of the family
My wife is pregnant right now and Ouzi tends to go sit on her stomach and cuddle and keeps making cute noises and speaking
This has never happened as much as she is doing now,
My question is two fold
How can we introduce the baby to her without getting into too much trouble as she clearly chose my wife as her favorite person, we are just afraid of maybe a little jealousy
Second question is did anyone else face something like this before and how did it go?
Things to know about ouzi
1- she is a free flight pet we let her out of the cage all day except when we aren't home or sleeping so a solution of keep her in the cage when the baby comes is out of question
2- she has huge issues with anyone coming near her cage we tried fixing it but to no avail
3- her favorite person in the world is my wife, hence why we are scared from jealousy
