She may be cavity seeking and that’s what she sees as a cavity as weird as that sounds.
She is only about 9weeks old. Do you think it's okay that she's doing this?

It's a green cheek thing, not sure about other conures. Green cheeks are cavity dwelling birds and many find small/tight spaces to be comforting. Mine seeks to be held in hands, pockets or sleeves as a self-soothing/relaxation method. He does it nightly before sleep. My bird is under a year, so I doubt it's hormones at this stage. He's been doing it since day 1.

My GCC definitely does this, but usually either between my legs if I am sitting or under my hair in the back of my neck. All tucked in to the warm spots!

I love it when she hides behind my hair and snuggles her warm head against my ear and starts nibbling it. It's like a ear massage!
